Jennifer C. Fitzgerald
Biography.
For
the past thirteen years, Jennifer Fitzgerald has pursued her passion
for politics and common sense public policy. Jennifer cut her teeth in
politics on the Oliver North for U.S. Senate Campaign in Virginia in
1994. The next year, Jennifer was the Deputy Campaign Manager for CA
Senate Republican Leader, Dick Ackerman, then a first-time State
Assembly candidate. After a successful campaign, Jennifer worked for
then-Assemblyman Ackerman as a Field Representative. Mrs. Fitzgerald
has also served as Communications Director for the Rhode Island House
of Representatives Republican Caucus and as District Director to both
Congressman John Campbell, during his time in the California State
Assembly, and Congressman Ed Royce.
Mrs. Fitzgerald
has also worked on numerous political campaigns over the years
including local, state, and federal races, as well as political party
grass roots projects. She also volunteers her time and energy with
industry groups as well as civic organizations. She is the incoming
President of the Board of Directors of the Fullerton Chamber of
Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for the Fullerton
Historic Theater Foundation and the California Public Arts Council. She
is also a member of Fullerton’s General Plan Advisory Committee. Mrs.
Fitzgerald is a member of the Orange County Public Affairs Association
and the California Women’s Leadership Association.
Mrs. Fitzgerald opened a strategic communications firm, CL7
Communications, in 2004. She specializes in political strategy and
fundraising. The company is located in Fullerton, California. Her
clients have included Mitt Romney for President, Governor Arnold
Schwarzenegger, and The California Women’s Leadership Association
(CWLA), among others.
Mrs. Fitzgerald earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication
Studies from Biola University in 1995. She and her husband live in
Orange County, California.
